REFLECTING WITH GRATITUDE
As we approach the end of this remarkable year, it's important to take a moment to reflect on the journey we've been on. 2024 has been a year of incredible progress and beauty, showcasing the best of humanity. I wish to acknowledge my gratitude for these moments:

The commitment of our parent body is truly remarkable. Your willingness to give time and effort to support our little school is a testament to your dedication and love for our community. I am deeply grateful for the dedication and professionalism of everyone working within our school and community. The unwavering support of our parents has greatly enhanced us, and the camaraderie among my colleagues has been just as remarkable and invaluable. The deep love of humanity and for humanity is the same wherever you go in the world; the Ravenshoe community beautifully exemplifies this. It has united us all in a shared commitment to gratitude, empathy, and mindfulness.

St. Teresa's Catholic School is a vibrant community where our collective spirit shines through in every event and celebration. Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Fete brings together families and friends in joyous festivity, showcasing our unity and enthusiasm. The creativity and teamwork displayed in our Torimba Festival Float exemplify our commitment to excellence and community pride. The making of the spiritual labyrinth stands as a testament to our dedication to mindfulness and spiritual growth, providing a serene space for reflection and connection. Our wonderfully celebrated liturgies are a cornerstone of our school life, fostering a deep sense of faith and togetherness. These events, among many others, highlight the unique strengths of St. Teresa's, making it a place where every member can thrive and feel a profound sense of belonging.

I cannot overlook this community’s greatest gift: its diversity. At St. Teresa's, we embrace the diversity of our Ravenshoe community, recognising the unique challenges and profound rewards it brings. We commit to Catholic social teachings that are rooted in our pillars of knowledge, love, and truth. We particularly emphasise the core value of "RESPECT". We recognise the sacredness of life and that every person has inherent dignity and worth. We understand that we all have a responsibility for one another in our lives together and are called to work for the common good of all. Unconditional regard.

As we conclude this year, let us carry forward the lessons we've learned, the gratitude we've shared, and the unity we've fostered. May we continue to support one another, celebrate our diversity, and strive for excellence in all that we do. Together, we can create a future filled with hope, compassion, and endless possibilities. Thank you for being an integral part of our St. Teresa's community. Here's to a bright and promising 2025!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IN 2025
School will finish at 12noon on Friday 6th December, 2024. Students will need to be picked up by their parents. Buses will not run at this time.

Classes resume for 2025 on Wednesday 29th January.

BE PREP READY FOR 2025
St. Teresa's Leadership has started planning for 2025 in anticipation of the arrival of our new Prep students. Several students are already indicating their attendance at our school next year, with others possibly unaware that they need to enrol early so the school can make the necessary preparations for their commencement and induction into our school. These early preparations ensure a smooth start to the formal education life of our students. If you are contemplating St Teresa's for your student, don't hesitate to get in touch with the school and arrange an opportunity for an interview, a tour, or an enrolment application.
