At St Teresa’s, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of every child so they feel safe, supported and ready to learn each day.
Our Wellbeing Hub provides a welcoming space where students and families can access practical, emotional and social support. The hub aims to break down barriers to regular school attendance and engagement, recognising that when children attend school consistently, they are better able to learn, grow and succeed.
Support available through the Wellbeing Hub includes assistance with lunches, school supplies, uniforms, and help with morning transitions into classrooms. Students can also access support throughout the day if they need a break, reset or extra encouragement to return to learning.
During lunchtimes, targeted support and small group programs are offered to assist students with social skills, emotional regulation and positive relationships. These programs run throughout the year and are responsive to student needs.
The Wellbeing Hub also works closely with local agencies and services, helping families connect with additional support beyond the school when needed. We value strong partnerships with families and community organisations and believe that working together strengthens outcomes for our children.
Parents and carers are always welcome to drop in for a chat and a cuppa, and to talk with our wellbeing team about how we can best support their child’s success at school and beyond.
